This policy explains what happens to your information when you use MP4Juice. In short: we only use what we need to find your file, and we don't keep it.
Who we are and how to reach us
MP4Juice ("we", "us") is a free online tool for saving YouTube videos as MP4 or MP3 files. If you have a question about this policy, write to contact@amp4.online.
The link you paste
When you submit a YouTube link, our server takes the video ID from it and asks a processing partner which files are available. The link is used only for this purpose. We check that it looks like a YouTube link before anything is sent.
Files and history
We don't keep the links you paste, the files you save or a list of your downloads, and we don't store the answers we receive. You don't need an account, so there is no profile or history linked to you. The download links shown to you live only in your browser tab.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics, a service from Google, to count visits and see which pages are used. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser (such as _ga), and Google processes this data under its own privacy policy.
You can block cookies in your browser settings or install Google's opt-out browser add-on. We still show no ads, you do not need an account, and we do not keep the links you paste or the files you download.
Hosting and technical data
Our pages are delivered by a hosting and network provider. Like any website, it may process technical data such as your IP address, your browser type and the time of a request, to deliver the pages and keep the service secure.
Thumbnails and file delivery
Video thumbnails in the results load directly from YouTube's image servers, which can see your IP address like any image request. When you tap a quality, the file is delivered directly from the servers that store the video, not from our own pages.
Emails you send us
If you write to us, we use your email address and your message only to reply to you. We don't add you to a mailing list, and we don't share your message with others unless the law requires it.
Children
MP4Juice is not aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. As we don't ask for names or accounts, there is normally nothing for us to collect.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to delete it, or ask any question about your privacy. Because we keep almost nothing, most requests can be answered quickly. Write to contact@amp4.online.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the service changes. The date at the top shows when it was last changed, so please check this page from time to time.
